1st class lever
hammer, and scissors- both have a fulcrum located between the effort and the load. In this type of lever, the direction of the effort and load are opposite, allowing for effective movement and force application. A skeletal example is a skull balancing on the neck without muscles gravity would pull it forward
2nd class lever
in this lever type, the load is between the fulcrum and the effort, allowing for a mechanical advantage. Common examples include a wheelbarrow and a nutcracker and a bottle opener . A skeletal example is the calf raising the body while standing on the toes.
3rd class lever
in this lever type, the effort is applied between the fulcrum and the load, often resulting in a more excellent range of motion but less mechanical advantage. Common examples include a fishing rod and tweezers, while a skeletal example is the biceps flexing the forearm.
