Types of Diffusion
- Hierarchical diffusion: person of authority down

Ethnocentrism

- Global Culture = changes slowly over space; the same everywhere
- Pop Culture = changes quickly over time; always new (expansion diffusion)

Cultural Appropriation

Acculturation
Assimilation to a different culture, typically the dominant one
