Table saw use uses
Ripping-cutting a piece of wood with the grain

Table saw safety
Never clear small pieces while Blade is moving
never stand directly behind the workplace due to kickback
Never adjust the saw when it’s running never overreach or reach across the blade
always use the 4 inch rule if ripping a piece for inches of less push stick
Never run materials containing nail screws and other metal metallic objects
if the machine is malfunctioning are making strange noises stop it immediately and inform teacher
Always keep the wood against the fence and less using sled or mitre gauge
pay attention to hand placement. One drives in one steers.
Miter saw uses
Cross cutting across grain of the wood
Bevel cut angle cut relative to board
Compound cut cutting an angle across in relative to the board

Always keep your hands at least 6 inches away from blade
Push don’t pull miter saw
Don’t raise blade until it has come to a complete stop
Make sure the miter saw is secure to the base or stand
Don’t start the saw with the blade, touching the work piece
Do not cut wood that has nails screws or other metal objects in it
Always make sure the peace is braced against the back fence
Never cut with a cross hand grip
Band saw uses
Cut straight lines using a fence
Cut curves in wood
Make small cuts like a notches

Never remove pieces while the blade is still moving
Never reach across the blade
never adjust the saw or fence while blade is moving
Make all cuts under power and not wall blade is coasting
If blade breaks, stand clear and stop machine

Scroll Saw uses
Primarily used to make intricate cuts in curves
The blade moves up and down and a reciprocation motion
The blade is very easy and thin to break
Requires patience in light touch

Install blade with teeth pointing down
Always make sure you’re pressing down on the material when cutting
If Blade snaps shut off machine immediately
Never start the saw with the material touching the blade
Select the correct speed for your cutting faster the speed faster the cut
Never have fingers in line with the cut keep fingers to the side
Nail gun uses
Framing uses in homes construction shoots longer, and thicker nails, smaller one finish/Brad used for trim, moldings and small woodworking projects
Nail gun safety
Never point nail gun at another person
Always shoot nails away from your body never towards you
Never engage the safety feature unless you’re ready to shoot a nail
Always disengage/unplugged nail gun when you’re done with it
Never try to clear a jam with the gun connected
Never carry the gun with the trigger pulled
Never assume the gun is empty with nails
Belt sander uses
Smooth out material that has rough spot
Shape or around edges
Remove small amount of material
Belt, sander safety
Keep fingers away from belt or disc
Always keep material flat on the table top
Never let go of the material
