Crimes against nature

• Owls are dark = witches

• An owl kills a falcon - chain of being broken

• Refers to mouse and lion - Macbeth kills Duncan

• Duncan’s horses eat each other

Playing the blame game

• Donalbain and Malcolm are placed as the killers because they fled the country

Off to Scone and a shot from Macduff

• Malcolm can’t be king - Macduff places new king to Macbeth

• Macduff has suspicions of Macbeth - He doesn’t go to the coronation but instead to Fife his home

Borrowed Robes

• “well may you see things well done there, Adieu lest our old robes sit easier than our new“ - Macduff - He said he’s not going but I hope it goes well

• Thinks he should wear his old robes cause the new ones won’t sit right - doesn’t trust Macbeth
