To search for happiness, buy products that we think will increase our happiness.

Commutative Justice
Governs exchanges between individuals.
What we owe people individually. CONTRACTS.
Distributive Justice
Governs what the greater community owes individual based on their contributions. What society owes to us. Examples like: free health clinics, education
Legal Justice
What we owe society. Governs what the individual owes the greater community.
Equality
Giving everyone the SAME THING

Giving to each what they need
This protects and defends the human dignity

Total of social conditions which allow people to reach their fulfillment
Three essential elements of the common good
1. respect for the life and dignity of every person
2. a commitment to the social well-being and development of the group, especially by ensuring that individuals' basic needs are met
3. the establishment of a peaceful and just society

No, it isn't really achieved. It is definitely a good goal to reach
How do we address society to provide social justice?
Identify unmet individual needs. Talk with them.
Direct Action
DIRECTLY helping this immediate needs. Examples such as: giving food, shelter, serving at the food bank.
Social action
Working for LONG-TERM solutions to address causes. Working "with" others instead of just for others. Examples: educating yourself on problems, voting, advocating for policies to be changed.
