The United States had geared up for war and wartime production soared and big businesses soared and jobs availability rose helping the country get out of the great depression slowly. 10M men were needed to fight the war and groups like African Americans, White Americans and Native Americans who helped communicate in ways the Japanese were unable to crack which caused numerous victories for the Allies.

They worked as nurses, drove trucks, repaired airplanes, and performed clerical work to free up men for combat. Those who joined the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) flew planes from the factories to military bases.”
