AO3-Overly simplistic

can reinforce harmful gender bias, MRIs on 950 male and females found women= better connections between left and right hemisphere whereas men= more activity in cerebellum, shows women= better at multi tasking, men= better at motor tasks, broad conclusions can reinforce stereotypes such as men are naturally better leaders. ignores individual variation even though biological findings support srs , they fuel discrimination and limit opportunities

AO3- Temporal validaty

research supporting SRS, lacks temporal validaty bc gender roles have changed significantly over time. eg smith and lloyd= decades ago since then more of a shift towards equality and flexibility in gender expression. so using these studies be cautious when applying such findings to current gender dynamics
