Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV)
Rule c.. 1353-1336 in Egypt. Husband of Nefartiti, Characterized for his major transformation of Egyptian religion to monotheism worshipping Aten. Akhenaten also transformed Egyptian art and moved the capital to Tell al-Almarna.
Amenhotep II
Dynasty 18 (16th century r. 1545-1526) in Egypt. Father was Thutmose III, “Continued conquest” into Syria - Peace made with Mitanni during his rule.

Born c. 1348, daughter of Akhenaten and wife to King Tut. Marks a return to “traditional” Egyptian values.
