2nd Amendment
Regulated state Militias/National Guard and Right to bear arms
3rd Amendment
No quartering of soldiers in people's homes during peacetime
4th Amendment
Right to privacy and No search & seizure w/o a warrant
5th Amendment: Due Process
Grand Jury for a felony, you can’t be tried twice for the same crime, and you do not have to testify against yourself
6th Amendment
Speedy trial and Defense by a lawyer
7th Amendment
Trial by jury of peers
8th Amendment
No Excessive Bail or Fines and No Cruel or Unusual punishments
9th Amendment
People have other/more rights not listed in the Constitution
10th Amendment
States have other/more powers not listed in the Constitution
11th Amendment
Constitution only applies to US citizens on US soil
12th Amendment
Electors in the Electoral College will vote for the Prez. & VP. In a tie, the HR will vote & choose the Prez
13th Amendment
Abolish/end Slavery
14th Amendment
People born in the USA or Naturalized are Citizens of the USA and All citizens have equal rights & protection
15th Amendment
All male citizens are eligible to vote
16th Amendment
Everyone pays federal income taxes
19th Amendment
All female citizens may vote
24th Amendment
people can not be discriminated against based on race, color, or creed
