Atheist

Monotheistic

Polytheistic

Religions that believe in multiple gods or goddesses. The ancient Greeks and Romans were polytheistic, as is the Hindu faith.

Deism

A belief that God did create the universe but that he takes no further interest in it.

Secular Humanism

Claim that the world can operate without any resource to God. Makes human achievement the center grounding force.

Revelation

The way God communicates knowledge of himself to humankind, a self-communication realized by his actions and words over time, most fully by sending us his divine Son Jesus Christ (Means - "unveiling")

Salvation History

The account of God's saving activity for humankind.

Covenant

The open-ended contract of love between God and human beings. Jesus' Death and Resurrection sealed God's new covenant of love for all time. Testament translates covenant.

Bible

The inspired Word of God; the written record of Revelation.

Sacred Tradition

The living transmission of the Church's Gospel message found in the Church's teaching, life, and worship. It is faithfully preserved, handed on, and interpreted by the Church's Magisterium. - the teaching body of the Church (Pope and Bishop)

A central truth of Revelation that Catholics are obliged to believe.

The way that God revealed himself, through God the Father. The Father then named Jesus as his Son and the Son would reveal that the father would send the Holy Spirit in his name

Yes, it reveals that Jesus is the visible image of God the Father and that the Holy Spirit is sent by the Father in the name of the Son.
