Motion Path
A three-dimensional track in a scene that allows you to move objects along it in animation.
Path Animation Markers
Numbered markers along the curve of a motion path, each representing a keyframe in the animation.
Position Markers
Motion path markers that show where an object is positioned on the path at specific frames.
Orientation Markers
Motion path markers that control the object’s rotation (Front Twist, Side Twist, and Up Twist) at specific frames.
Edit Points
Points directly on the motion path that provide precise control over the path’s alignment, but can create sharp corners.
Control Vertices
Points where the tangents of the curve intersect; moving them smooths out the curves of a motion path.
Graph Editor
A tool that provides a graphical representation of animation interpolation between keyframes, allowing for precise control over motion and timing.
Toolbar (Graph Editor)
Positioned at the top of the Graph Editor, it provides quick-access controls for working with keys and curves.
Outliner (Graph Editor)
Located on the left side of the Graph Editor, it displays nodes representing animation curves in a hierarchical list.
Graph View
The area on the right side of the Graph Editor where you manipulate animation curves and keys.
