Like claim that’s made that’s generally wrong,

trying to make something wrong seem right

— Make the false pretense he’s legit

Has to do with church parish — A parish is a smaller christian admin district

Also could mean that you have a narrow outlook — like just a parish and not the rest of the world

Really good, like in a impressive way, at something — prodigious son is the one who's hella good at something — literally like a prodigy

Really really want revenge — strong/unreasoning desire for it

Worries/doubts about something, something you do, your conduct — Moral qualms about doing killing people

Utterly unable to do something — having no skill

Unhealthy, lean + haggard, generally because of some sort of harm/hunger or just being old — its a look that you’re too skinny and stuff

Erode the base/foundation — Lessen the effectiveness, power, ability of something, generally gradually, insidiously, over time

Agreed to by lease, deed, some other type of contract

The one who brings a case to the court of law — the one who sues, says that the defendant did something bad

Either you depose someone, or MORE IMPORTANTLY, you give sworn evidence toward something, where you sit in a room and say a bunch of stuff under oath with a transcript) — u can ask questions and stuff, with cross-ex and stuff
