Almond shaped glands about 3cm in length
Where the female gametes are produced + secreted (eggs)

2 fallopian tubes attached to each ovary
Carry egg to the uterus from the ovaries

Helps guide egg into uterine tube

Hollow, pear shaped organ found behind bladder with walls made of soft muscle
Protect + nourish fetus while it devlops

Soft mucous membrane lining uterus
To prepare for and maintain pregnancy, and to shed during menstruation if pregnancy doesn't occur

Majora: 2 fleshy folds of skin made of fat + fibrous tissue
Minora: Behind majora, 2 smaller folds of skin, pink in colour + without fat
Function: Contains large number of glands that secrete an oily substance.
Clitoris description + function
A structure equivalent to the penis. Contains erectile tissue, blood vessel + nerves. very sensitive
Assists in the process of sexual reproduction through sexual stimulation
