Borderline Personality Disorder

intense extremes between positive and negative emotions, an unstable sense of self, impulsivity, and difficult unstable social relationships - go one moment from thinking someone is amazing to turning on them and believing they are awful, mostly deeply insecure behaviour. high risk of suicide and self harm, risk of substance abuse and sexual activity

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

inflated sense of self-importance and an intense need for attention and admiration, as well as intense self-doubt and fear of abandonment - committing crimes and cheating to serve their best self interest

Histrionic Personality Disorder

excessive attention seeking and dramatic behaviour - love to be centre of attention, very charismatic and lure you in with their charm and can be flirtatious, can be immature behaviours to maintain attention

Antisocial personality disorder

a habitual pattern of willingly violating others personal rights with very little sign of empathy or remorse - don’t care about other wellbeing, won’t consider other perspectives > easy to commit psychological harm to people (psychopathic behaviour)

Physiological reaction: graphic images give us increased heart rate, sweating. people with this disorder do not have the same reaction. résistent to being rehabilitated
