What is the jelly-like substance inside the cell that surrounds organelles called?
Cytoplasm (cytosol)
What is the cell's skeleton called?
Cytoskeleton
What are cilia?
Short, hair-like projections on the outside of the cell that aid movement.
What is the flagellum (flagella)?
Tail-like structure that moves the cell.
What is the nucleus?
The brain of the cell; contains DNA.
What is the nucleolus?
Region inside the nucleus that makes ribosomes (described as 'grapes' in the center).
