Engine block
house all of the internal components that rotate and create the four stroke process

Piston
create a closed sealed area where combustion takes place and transfer the power to the connecting rod then to the crank shaft

connecting rod
connect to the crank shaft transfer the power and torque form the position to the crankshaft

Wrist pin
connects the piston to the connection two different ways to mount a wrist pin floating and press fit

Crankshaft
takes reciprocating motion and turn it into rotory motion

Bearings
support moving parts like the crankshaft and connecting rods, allowing them to spin with minimal friction and wear
A cousion of oil in the surface allows oil to get in between them

Piston rings
seal the combustion chamber to maintain pressure, regulate engine oil consumption, and transfer heat from the piston to the cylinder wall

Compresión ring (top ring)
a critical, top-groove piston component that seals the combustion chamber, transfers heat to the cylinder wall, and controls oil

Oil rings (bottom ring)
the bottom set of rings on a piston, designed to regulate lubrication by scraping excess oil from cylinder walls and returning it to the sump
lobrcates the cylinder when it’s all the way up and scraps the oil when it’s all the way down

Oil pump
responsible for pumping oil and Val mine and pressure through out the engine

Flex plate
allow starter to Ingage the engine from the outside and transfer the power from the engine to the torque converter and clutch

Rod cap
goes on the bottom of the rod and connects to the crank shaft
converts the rotational motion of the crankshaft by clamping to the crankshaft journal, providing structural integrity under combustion loads
