MANAGEMENT THEORY
This chapter gives you a short overview of
the three principal historical perspectives
or viewpoints on management—classical,
behavioral, and quantitative. It then
describes the three principal contemporary
viewpoints—systems, contingency, and
quality-management. Finally, we consider
the concept of learning organizations.
MANAGEMENT
Refers as CREATIVE problem solving process of
PLANNING, ORGANIZING, LEADING, and
CONTROLLING an organization’s RESOURCES to
achieve its MISSION and OBJECTIVES.
