Physical quantity

The quantities which can be measured are called physical quantities

Scalar quantities

These are physical quantities which are expressed only by their magnitude

We need the following to parameters to express a quantity completely

1. Unit in which the quantity is being measured.

2. Numerical value of the measured quantity

Mass length time

Vector quantities

This physical quantity required the magnitude as well as the direction to complete them then only their meaning is complete

2. Unit

3. Direction
