Both, Touch, muscles for chewing (Clench teeth and ask them to identify touch on the face)

Abducens

Motor, Eye movement (Move your eye from side to side)

Facial

Both, Taste and facial expressions
Smile, puff cheek (recognize the taste)

Vestibulocochlear

Sensory, Hearing and balance (Identify sounds and balance test)

Glossopharyngeal

Both, Taste and some swallowing muscles (Test gag reflex, say "ah" and swallow)

Vagus

Both, Voice and gag reflex, Hoarse voice (test gag reflex)

Accessory

Motor, Head movement, Head rotation (shoulder shrug without and with resistance)

Hypoglossal

Motor, Muscles for the tongue (Stick out tongue and resist tongue depressor)
