What is a force?
a push or pull that acts on an object due to interaction with another objects
Contact forces
need to be touching
e.g. friction, tension, normal contact force, reaction force, air resistance
Non-contact forces
Do not need to be touching
e.g. Magnetism, Electromagnetism, Gravity
Newton’s Third Law
When objects interact, they exert equal and opposite forces on each other
