Fourth Stage of Labour
The period of one hour after birth during which immediate postpartum care is provided.
Blood Loss
The estimated amount of blood loss should not exceed 500ml during the fourth stage of labour.
Lochia
The vaginal discharge following delivery, monitored to ensure it is not excessive.
Perineal Pad Inspection
