Blood Type A

Has 'A' antigens and can donate to A and AB, but not to O or B.

Blood Type B

Has 'B' antigens and can donate to B and AB, but not to A or O.

Blood Type AB

Has both 'A' and 'B' antigens and can receive from all types but can only give to AB.

Blood Type O

Has neither 'A' nor 'B' antigens and can donate to all types but can only receive from O.

Small proteins on red blood cells that determine if blood is Rh positive (+) or negative (-).

Positive Rh type

Can donate to other positive types only but can receive from both positive and negative types.

Negative Rh type

Can donate to both positive and negative types but can only receive from negative types.

Can donate to AB+ only and can receive from all blood types.

Blood Type Compatibility for O-

Can donate to all blood types but can only receive from O-.

Blood Type Compatibility for B-

Can donate to B- and AB- but can only receive from B- and O-.

Blood Type Compatibility for A+

Can donate to A+ and AB+ but can receive from A+ , A-, O+ and O-.
