working in a fast paced environment

give me an example of when you have tried a new way of working and what you learned from it?
in my previous role at matalan when it was around christmas the fitting room queues were getting long and customers were getting frustrated so I suggested getting extra staff in during peak times which reduced wait times and kept customers happy and boosted sales.
I learned that it is important to percieve customers body language and be observant.
Can you tell me about a time when you had to make it very simple for someone else to understand what needed to be done for a particular task or project?
one of my old colleagues had just joined and they didn’t know how to set up a promotional display so I broke the steps down step by step instead of overwhelming them with all the information at once and showed them one example.
Can you tell me about a time when you were unclear about what was expected of you in a task or project?
I was asked to help with setting up a new section on the shop floor but I didnt know how the layout should look so instead of guessing I looked at a nearby section that had already been set up and used it as a guide.
Tell me about a time when you took the initiative to get things done or make something happen, even though nobody asked you to.
the shoe section was getting messy and customers were starting to leave items on the floor so i tidied it up.
Can you tell me about a time when you have worked with others that may have had differing views in order to achieve a particular outcome or common goal?
In a group project at school we had to create a presentation but some wanted to use a slideshow, while others wanted to use a poster so i suggested we used a slideshow for the main points and a poster to support it visually.
Can you tell me about a time when you listened to a customer’s need or request, and then made every attempt to exceed their expectations?
a customer came in looking for a specific outfit for an event but wasn’t sure exactly what would suit them so i asked what style,colours and price they were looking for so i gave them a couple outfit choices.
