What God reveals to us through scripture, tradition and the Magesteruim.

Covenant
A Kinship bond. It makes a family. A sacred bond that cannot be broken.
Sabbath
A day of rest and renewal for mankind, not God. We are renewing our relationship with God!
The Fall
The event that takes place that causes sin to enter the world.
Image and likeness
Being made in the image and likeness of someone that means that we are their son or daughter, we are family.
Trinity
God is a Trinity of Persons. Means threefold.
Monotheism
The worshiping of ONE God.
Polytheism
The worshiping of more than on God the doctrine of the Trinity is NOT Polytheism.
Mystery
The Trinity, something we can come to know through God revealing things to us.

Means to have a parent-child relationship.

Jesus is FULLY God and FULLY Man. This is because he is both the SON of God and the SON of Mary. We call this divine and human nature.

To be ANOINTED, means a person is chosen for a special mission, Jesus Christ was chose to save us from sin.
Advocate
meaning he wants to help us and strengthen us for holiness!
Paraclete
The Greek Word for Advocate.
Pentecost
Where the Holy Spirit is fully revealed to the Apostles.
What is the Deposit of Faith made of?
Makes up of divine revelation:
Tradition: Tradition comes first, protected by the magesteruim
Scripture: Written word, comes from tradition
For what reason does God inspire the authors of Scripture to write what they do (hint: for the sake of…)?
For the Sake of our Salvation.

The apostles and Peter.

When a council of Bishops comes together to discuss a topic or the Pope expresses that he is speaking ex Cathedra.

God makes covenants with his people throughout all of time.

An exchange of persons

For US its a day of rest and to renew our relationship with God.

It is the generator and creates us out of nothing.

Incarnate in Christ to save us from Sin.
What does the Holy Spirit give?
Gifts to strengthen us in our faith and through trials of life.
Did all three persons of the Trinity always exist?
Yes they have ALWAYS existed.
