Death
the cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism, marking the end of life.
ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate)

Pallor Mortis
the post-mortem paleness of the skin, occurring due to the cessation of circulation.
Algor Mortis
the cooling of the body after death, which begins shortly after circulation stops and continues until body temperature reaches that of the environment.
Livor Mortis
the pooling of blood in dependent areas of the body after death, resulting in a purplish discoloration of the skin.
Rigor Mortis
the stiffening of the body muscles after death, occurring as a result of chemical changes in the muscles and typically beginning a few hours post-mortem.
Somatic Death
the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain life, marking the end of life.
Cellular Death
the breakdown of cells and tissues, resulting from the loss of blood supply and nutrient deprivation, ultimately leading to the dissolution of cellular structures.
