negative feedback + example
It shuts off the original effect of the stimulus or reduces intensity. An example would be drinking water when thirsty because it shuts off the reaction.
explain action of an enzyme
Enzymes are globular proteins that act as biological catalysts to regulate and speed up rate of chemical reactions. A substrate binds to enzyme active site, temporarily forming an enzyme-substrate complex, enzyme-substrate complex undergoes internal rearrangements from a product, enzyme releases production.
What would happen to a cell in a hypertonic solution?
The cell would shrink because it would lose water.
What would happen to a cell in a hypotonic solution?
Water would move into the cell by osmosis causing it to swell.
