What is temperament?
biologically based style of reacting to emotional and behavioral (how you respond to the environment)
A strong temperament is more stable
What is the classic temperament theory?

ranges from difficult to slow to warm up to
difficult babies slept and ate irregularly and became easily upset by new situations
easy babies were happy and adaptable
Slow-to-warm-up babies were low in activity level
they negatively react to new stimuli but may gradually adjust and become more comfortable with time.
