Sunday is a holy day of rest for Christian, they often visit a church for mass. They are encouraged to pray anywhere but also pray together as a community in a church.
Give a few points on Christian worship in the church.
Christians attend church for mass and other special occasions such as weddings, funerals and religious festivals. Christians have the option to pray silently or join in on formal prayers and songs. Part of Christian worship will involve listening to readings from the bible. The person who leads the worship varies, depending on the denomination but in a Catholic Church a bishop, priest or deacon may lead.

They are often designed in the shape of a cross, and many churches have a steeple which is a tower with a point or spire. Many steeples have a bell used to remind people to pray. Most Christian churches have the cross in or on the building. Some churches have statues or images of Jesus, Mary and other saints to help worship, but others do not allow any statues or imagery. Other important features include an altar, a table used as the focus for a religious ritual. The lectern is where the bible is read and the pulpit in where a serom is given to explain the bible.
