Verbs that Take ‘RR” before the ending

envoyer, voir, acquérir, courir, pouvoir, mourir

Verbs that take ‘DR’ before the ending

Venir, convenir, tenir, contenir, valoir, falloir, vouloir

Devoir, recevoir, pleuvoir

Forming the Future Perfect / Futur Antérieur

• Future of etre or avoir + past participle of verb

• Used to express an action that vill have been completed before another future action or point in time

• E.g je serai allée

The Present Conditional

ais, ais, ait, ions, iez, aient

• RE verbs = e lost

• ER + IR = infin used as stem

Past Conditional

• Present conditional of auxiliary + past participle of verb

• something that ‘could have happened’

Present Conditional Etre

• serais, serais, serait, serions, seriez, seraient

Present Conditional Avoir - same as imperf

aurais, aurais, aurait, aurions, auriez, auraient

Futur Proche / Immédiate Future

• Present tense of ALLER + infinitive of verb

• E.g Je vais t’expliquer = I’m going to explain to you
