Any response or reaction of the individual; it can be covert or overt, rational or irrational, conscious or unconscious, simple or complex.

What is Basic research?
Research conducted to advance knowledge rather than for its practical application
What is Applied research?
Research conducted to solve practical problems
What is Naturalistic Observation?
A visual method of investigation that requires behavior to be observed in its natural setting or normal environment.
What is Survey-Questionnaire?
A method of gathering data is indirect but more structured where a list of pretested questions are presented to a group of respondents, we call a sample.
What is a Case Study?
Particularly done for clinical purposes. The researcher would specifically want to understand the person’s present condition by obtaining a biography (life story) of the person.
What is Archival Research?
Helps understand behavioral patterns of a person or a group of persons at a particular time and place in history.
What is Experimental Method?
Researchers are sometimes conducted to discover the extent to which one variable can affect another variable.
What is Correlation Method?
Seeks to determine the possible relationship that may exist between two variables.
