What is a worldview?

A worldview is a basic flamework, or lens, through which people understand the world.

What is the supernatural dimension?

The belief in divine being or power that exceeds the limits of human and the physical world. It can’t be explain by the natural laws of science or human nature.

Transcendent in nature

meaning it exists outside of and beyond the physical universe.

Immanent in nature

means a divine force that pervades遍布 this universe and exists within it

How do religions acknowledge the supernatural dimension?

• Monotheism (transcendent)

  Acknowledges one singular divine being, which is transcendent and exists beyond the human dimension. Like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

• Polytheism (immanent or transcendent)

  Acknowledges many divine beings or powers, which exist both beyond and within the natural world. Like Hinduism and Buddhism.

• Pantheism (immanent and transcendent)

  the divine being is both in and outside of the physical world. Like Christianity.
