What are quarks?
Fundamental particles that make up larger particles.
What are Hadrons?
Particles made up of quarks and interact with he strong force.
What are the 2 groups types if Hadrons?
Baryons and Mesons.

Why cant quarks be on their own?
Energy required to pull two quarks apart is so massive its great enough to create two new particles.
What si the quark structure for Baryons?
Three quarks or antiquarks (for an antibaryon).

What is the quark structure for neutrons?
ddu
What is the quark structure for Mesons?
A quark antiquark pair (always unstable)
What are examples of Mesons?
Pions (lightest mesons, 3 different types with different charges)
Kaons (Heavier and more unstable mesons,very short lifetime and decay into Pions)
