Frontal Lobe
Responsible for reasoning, problem solving, planning, voluntary motor activity, and speech.
Parietal Lobe
Processes sensory information such as touch, temperature, and pain; involved in spatial orientation & body awareness.
Temporal Lobe
Responsible for processing auditory information, memory formation, and understanding language.
Occipital Lobe
Primarily responsible for processing visual information.
Primary Motor Area
Area in the frontal lobe responsible for voluntary motor activity.
Premotor Area
Area in the frontal lobe associated with motor control and planning movements.
Motor Speech (Broca's) area
Area in frontal lobe related to speech production.
Prefrontal area
Area in the frontal lobe involved in complex cognitive functions.
Primary Somatosensory Area
Area that receives sensory information related to touch, and pain.
Somatosensory Association Area
Area that interprets sensory information.
Primary Taste Area
Area responsible for processing taste sensations.
Primary Auditory Area
Area that receives auditory information.
Auditory Association Area
Area involves with interpretation of sounds.
Sensory Speech (Wernicke's) Area
Area that decodes speech to understand it.

Area involved in recognition and interpretation of visual stimuli.
