what are nursing interventions for neonatal abstinence syndrome?
obtain newborn drug screen (urine and meconium)
monitor daily weights
feed in small freq amounts
minimize environmental stimuli
swaddle tightly in flexed position
provide pacifier
admin tapering dose of morphine or methadone
