Munich Conference -

Took place in September 29m 1938 and the goal was appeasement (march 1939) and brought Hitler  czechoslovakia under german control so they could prevent another world war from breaking out by appeasing. But it was very controversial because WW11 broke out a couple years later so did appeasement really work.
