They first want to make him a navy enginer to set up a landing zone; they then ask to change the assignment because he was studying funeral that puts him as a navy corpsmen → provides medical care to sailors and Marines, both in hospitals and in the field.

From Texas. e joined to be with the football team, he is a 7th day adventance if thy choose to serve they are not allowed to perform violence, he has a girlfriend named cathrine and they are going to be doctors, his father thinks that this will make him a man but his mom doesnt like it, swims in the texas swams so he gets malaria so he wont have to go back

From Arizona. he has some struggles with alcoholism. He is quite a reserved man (culture) from Arizona. Hee is a pimaindian, and they value community. He is a man of faith; he thanks god in every letter. he is proud; he can be a parachutist.

From Pennsylvania. he is a leader, is charismatic, he is a big dude what you expect of a marine but he eventually belives that he wont live pass the next thing.

From Kentucky. big red-headed country boy (innocence), asks his girlfriend to wait for him, last words to her were when I come back I will be a hero.
