find any major triad and add as 7th on top

how do you find dominant 7th chord?

lower the 7th by a half step

lower the 7th and the 3th by a half step

how do you find a half diminished 7th?

lower the 7th, 5th, and 3rd by a half step

how do you find a fully diminished 7th?

lower the 7th by two half steps, and lower the 5th and 3rd by one half step
