Three Theories on Emotions
James-Lange Theory, Canon-Bond Theory, Schacter-Singer Theory
James-Lange Theory
emotions are caused by body after events and are interpretations of bodily response
Canon-Bond Theory
emotions are independent of physiology and bodily response and are affected by thoughts and outward behavior
Schacter-Singer Theory
emotions are both a body response and interpretation of it and are caused by situation and inner context
