Where children receive instruction as they prepare for confirmation. This is where they learn about the gifts and actions of the holy spirit. Through this, the person deepens their of belonging to the parish church. They learn to take on responsibilities of the Christian life.

The bishop prays for the Holy Spirit to come upon the candidates. First, he asks everyone to pray, sometimes in silence or with a song. Then the bishop puts his hands over the candidates and asks God to send the Holy Spirit to be their Helper and Guide. He prays that they receive the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, right judgment, courage, knowledge, reverence, and wonder and awe in God’s presence.
