I am the Bread of Life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst (John 6:35)

Disciples looking for Jesus, look for sign similar to ancestors getting manna from heaven

For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him (John 6:55-56)

Jews don’t understand how Jesus can give his real flesh to eat. Jesus explain unlike ancestors who ate and died, whoever eats His bread lives forever

Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life (John 6:68)

Disciples reject Jesus. The 12 respond to him

This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me (Mark 7:6)

Pharisees accuse Jesus because his discriples eat with unwashed hands, breaking the tradition of the elders.

But he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter said to him in reply, “You are the Christ” (Mark 8:29)

Who do people say that I am? Peter replies, the Christ

If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all (Mark 9:35)

Disciples argue over who is the greatest, learn humility from Jesus

Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him ifa great millstone were put around his neck and he were thrown into the sea (Mark 9:42)

Tell disciples to not stop man driving demons out in His name. Teaches how not to sin

Therefore what God has joined together, no human being must separate (Mark 10:9)

Pharisees ask is it lawful for a husband to divorce his wife. Teaches about marriage.

Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me (Mark 10:21)

Man asks how to inherit eternal life. Jesus tells him to sell his treasures.

For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45)

James and John ask to sit on left and right on Jesus. Jesus reminds his discriples to serve others

Jesus told him, “Go your way; your faith has saved you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way (Mark 10:52)

Jesus heals blind man calling to him on the street

To love God with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:33)

Scribe ask which is the first ofthe commandments. Jesus says to love God and love your neighbor

Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury (Mark 12:43)

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds’ with great power and glory (Mark 13:31)

Jesus describes the final judgment day. No one knows except the Father (not the son or angels)

You say I am a king. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth (John 18:37)

Pilate asking Jesus if he is King of the Jews. Jesus explains his kingdom does not belong to this world.

Be vigilant at all times and pray (Luke 21:36)
