Jason must yoke two fire breathing, bronze hoofed bulls and use them to plow the ground. He must then sow the other six dragons' teeth and kill the warriors that sprout from the ground.

Medea gives him a potion to make him fire-resistant and tells him to defeat the warriors the same way Cadmus did.

Jason succeeds and Aeetes throws a banquet where he plans to kill the Argonauts. Medea knows this will end badly so she leads Jason to the fleece, drugs the dragon with a sleeping potion, and they flee.
