False → Darwin though it was silly that people can’t believe in god and evolution, There is evidence that evolution exists so it’s not exactly something that you can or cannot believe in. It happens all around us all the time

In order to accept evolution as a real process, you cannot believe in god

He set sail in HMS beagle in December 1831

Darwin was taken to explore animals, rocks. His job was to observe, record, collect specimens of rocks, minerals, plants, and animals

The galapagos Islands

How many speciemens did Darwin collect and how many pages of observations did he have?

He collected over thousands of specimens, he wrote over 400 pages of observations

What struck Darwin in the Galapagos islands?

The unusual and unique flora and fauna here including Nesting boobies with no fear of humans, Iguanas that could diver underwater to eat seaweed, Giant land tortoises

What did Darwin learn at the island?

He learned later that these weren’t variations of the same species but each a were unique species
