Health Career Display
An event that allows members to research a health career, create a display, and present information to others.
Round One
The first phase involving a digital outline and pre-judging of the display board.
Digital Outline
A digital representation explaining the organization and details of the display board.
Presentation
The second round where top-scoring teams present their display boards to judges.
Dress Code
Requirement for competitors to wear proper business attire or HOSA uniform to earn bonus points.
Display Board Dimensions
The display board should be a tri-fold measuring no more than 36” high and 48” wide.
Original Work
All presentations and artistic elements must be created by the competitors, adhering to originality rules.
HOSA Digital Upload System
The platform where team members must upload their project materials by May 15.
Reference Page
A page included in the digital upload listing all sources cited, following APA format.
Benefits/Challenges Section
A portion of the display outlining the advantages and difficulties associated with the chosen health career.
Team Composition
Each team consists of 2 members participating in the Health Career Display event.
Creative and Artistic Impact
A section of the outline detailing how the display stands out artistically and creatively.
Final Scoring
Scores from both Rounds One and Two will be combined to determine final results in the competition.
State Leadership Conference (SLC)
A regional competition requiring a check on specific submission and upload requirements.
Project Display Time
Time allocated during the International Leadership Conference for competitors to showcase their displays.
