What does Ultrafiltration do
It filters small molecules out of the blood into the Bowman's Capsule through podocytes.

What is a podocyte?
'Octopus like' structure, with extended arms. The spaces between the fingers are paths which the filtrate travels through.

They prevent large molecules such as proteins and blood cells from passing through. Smaller molecules can pass through due to their high pressure.
