Me, I’m having a great holiday in Corsica!

Moi, je passe de super vacances en Corse!

Coucou! J’espére que tu vas bien

I’m staying in a beautiful hotel with a sea view.

Je loge dans un hôtel bel avec vue sur la mer.

It is very modern and well situated.

C’est très moderne et bien situeé.

I am sleeping in a comfortable and spacious room

Je dors dans une chambre confortable et spacieux

I am here with my family, and we get along very well.

Je suis ici avec ma famille, et on s’entend très bien.

It’s great to spend time together.

C’est super de passer du temps ensemble.

We travelled by plane

Nous avons voyagé en avion

The weather is superb here, the sun shines almost every day

Le temps est superbe ici, le soleil brille presque tous les jours

However, it rains from time to time

Cepdendant, il pleut de temps en temps

Sometimes, it is a bit too hot in the afternoon

Parfois, il fait un peu trop chaud dans l’après-midi

In the evening, it is colder, it’s alright

Le soir, il fait plus frois, c’est agréable

Yesterday, I explore a small typical village.

Hier, j’ai exploré un petit village typique.

I tasted Corse specialities in a local restaurant

J’ai goûté des spécialités corses dans un restaurant local

It was delicious. Yum!

C’était délicieux. Miam!

After, we went on a walk on the beach.

Aprés, nous avons fait une promenade sur la plage

I took a lot of photos because the country is magnificent

J’ai pris beaucoup de photos parce que le paysage est magnifique

For the rest of the week, I will go to the beach and swim in the sea.

Pour le reste de la semaine, j’irai à la plage et nager dans la mer

I will do a boat trip to see the cliffs and the villages around the coast

Je ferai une excursion en bateau pour voir les falaises et les villages autour de la côte

I will try the Corse specialities like the cheese and the cold cuts

Je essayerai les spécialités corses comme le fromage et le charcuterie

I also want to taste again of the local dishes again and buy some souvenirs for my friends

Je veux aussi goûter encore plus de plats locaux et acheter quelques souvenirs pour mes amis

I will relax myself and enjoy the sun before returning

Je vais me détendre et profiter du soleil avant de rentrer

I love this island and I can’t wait to tell you all about it when I return!

J’adore cette île et j’ai hâte de te raconter tout ça à mon retour
