The act of being paid back for a wrong done.
Metamorphosis
A complete change in form or appearance.
Odysseus
The main hero of the epic, known for his cleverness and desire to return home.
Penelope
Odysseus's faithful wife who cleverly deceives the suitors.
Telemachus
Odysseus's son, who grows from a boy to a man during the story.
Athena
The goddess of wisdom and strategy who helps Odysseus.
Circe
A powerful enchantress who turns Odysseus's men into animals.
