An ghealach: emotions

In my opinion,happiness is the main emotion in the poem

The poet is on a personal journey and the moon is shining down on her

Tá an file ag turas pearsanta agus tá an ghealach ag lonrú anuas uirthi

The moon gives her hope because it is a friend to her

Tugann an ghealach dóchas di mar cara atá ann di

The poet is delighted to have her own moon
