Autotroph (producer)

Organisms able to obtain energy from sunlight or chemicals and use it to produce its own food from inorganic compounds

Heterotroph (consumer)

Organisms that obtain energy from consuming other organisms (broad amount of animals)

Carnivore

Organisms that eat other animals (specific)

Omnivore

Organisms that eat plants and animals

Herbivore

Organisms that eat plants and the products of plants

Decomposer

Organisms that break down organic matter to then produce detritus (dead animal/plant)

Scavenger

Animals that eat the varvasses of dead/killed animals

Primary consumer

Organisms that consume the produces

Secondary consumer

Organisms that consume the primary consumers

Tertiary consumer

Organisms that consume the secondary consumers

Top consumer

These are the consumers at the highest point of the food chain. They are apexpreditos, theses are the animals at the first trophic level
