Housing License
An agreement between the University of North Texas and a student allowing the student to occupy residential space.
Guarantor
An individual who agrees to be responsible for the obligations of the student under the housing license if the student is under 18.
Application Fee
A $50.00 fee that covers administrative costs necessary for processing the housing application.
Housing Fee Pre-Payment
A $350.00 pre-payment applied towards the first installment of housing fees if admitted to UNT.
Term of License
The period during which the housing license is in effect, corresponding to the academic term(s) the student applies for.
Check-out Procedures
Required actions that a student must follow when vacating their assigned room at the end of the academic term.
Termination Fee
A fee incurred by a student for early termination of the housing agreement.
Room Assignments
The process of allocating living spaces to students without regard to race, religion, or national origin.
Neat and Orderly
