Dodge
Curl over in the direction called, then curl over in the opposite direction.
Try to minimize the amount of pause between curl overs. It should be a fluid motion.
Squiggle
A dodge, but with an additional curl over on the end going the original direction called.
Swerve
Dodge thread.
Thread: Odds do the move on the first go, and evens will do the move on the second go.
Bear
Curl over but you return to the original axis at a slant.
Harp
Curl one direction then bear in the opposite direction.
Keyhole
¾ of a curl that results in a comb.
A good visualising tip is if you begin the turn left you will end up going right and vice versa.
Coil
Keyhole, then halt as soon as you are straight.
Key Curl
Curl in direction called, then keyhole in the same direction.
Bubble
Each rider will make their own individual meter circle on go.
A meter circle will be done at a trot and is slightly larger than a regular trot curl.
Retreat Curl
Curl then curl over in the same direction.
Mist
Curl the direction called then curl over the opposite direction.
Storm
Mist but in a wave, resulting in a waterfall.
Odds will mist left, evens will mist right.
Curl Comb
A curl immediately into a comb.
Curl Slant
A curl immediately into a slant without releasing your turn key.
Be sure to pay attention to your positioning in order to match your angle with the riders around you. Done at a walk.
Wave
Odds will curl in the direction called, and evens will curl in the opposite direction.
The term “wave” can be added to any move to indicate that odds and evens do the move in opposite directions.
Fate
Curl in the direction called, then curl in the opposite direction.
Petal
Fate but with an extra curl in the original direction.
Butterfly
A trot fate then a canter fate, both in the same direction.
Twist
Odds will fate the direction called, and evens will fate the opposite direction.
I Curl
Walk curl then a trot curl.
Bee Curl
Trot curl then canter curl.
Orbit
Walk curl then a canter curl.
Triple Curl
Walk curl, trot curl, then canter curl.
Star Curl
Walk curl, canter curl, then trot curl.
Jupiter
Odds trot curl and evens canter curl in the direction called.
Pluto
Odds walk curl and evens canter curl in the direction called.
Venus
Odds walk curl and evens trot curl in the direction called.
Destiny
Curl twice in the direction said, then curl in the opposite direction.
Feather
While on a mid, odds will comb the direction called and evens will comb the opposite direction.
Dye Divide
After a cut centerline, odds dye left, and evens dye right. Usually done at X.
Switch
In a waterfall, on the first go everyone will comb in and through the gaps, on the second go everyone will cut back towards their leads.
Slant Switch
From a waterfall, slant in on the first go, then cut back straight on the second go.
